With over 200 leading professionals from the European refining and fuels industry attending in 2007, The World Refining Association is pleased to announce that The European Fuels Conference – 9th Annual Meeting will take place from 11–13 March 2008 in Paris, France.

The 2008 European Fuels Conference will once again provide a unique meeting place for leading refinery and

fuels executives to discuss all the latest developments in the European market. Oil majors’ refining and investment strategies both globally and in Europe, biofuels, automotive fuels, marine fuels, jet fuels and refining process and technology developments will be covered by a panel of over 30 senior industry experts.

The 2008 event will contain a much more detailed insight into the global refining industry with a particular focus on Russia and The Middle East and the effects this will have on the European sector.

The World Refining Association is also delighted to announce the Alternative Fuels Symposium which is to take place on Thursday 13th March 2008 following the 2008 European Fuels Conference. The symposium will provide an in-depth view into the recent developments concerning hydrogen, hybrid electric and biofuels.
