Building on the overwhelming success of the 2006 and 2007 events, the World Refining Association is delighted to announce that Biofuels 2008 will take place in Berlin, Germany, from 28-30 October 2008.

300 senior executives from the global biofuels industry attended Biofuels 2007 in Vienna. The 2008 event will once again provide attendees with not only an overview of each area involved in the sector from agriculture, finance, governments, construction, production and technology providers, it will also take an in depth look into number of case study examples of the implementation of new technologies in production facilities worldwide.

In 2008 the event will begin with the Global Biofuels Technology Forum which will provide attendees with an in-depth look into three state of the art biofuels technologies and a case study of where they have been implemented in production facilities. During the afternoon a limited number of forum attendees will also receive the opportunity to attend a site visit to Europe's largest fully integrated biodiesel plant located in Wittenberg.
