The only downstream event focused on North Africa

The 2nd annual North Africa Downstream Summit is the only event focusing on the downstream sector for the North Africa region. Gathering over 120 of your senior level peers, the Summit is essential for companies that are involved, or want to be involved, in the development of the North Africa downstream market potential. It will bring together the strategic and commercial angle of the North Africa Downstream sector in light of the overall energy strategy of the region.

As part of the 9th North Africa Oil & Gas Summit, over 450 people representing the entire value chain, will gather on 4-7 November in Algeria to discuss and highlight the tremendous potential that North Africa holds, and to attract further investment in the region.

The inaugural North Africa Downstream Summit in numbers:

  • 120 senior representatives from the downstream sector took part in the first and only event focusing on the North Africa Downstream sector, in Tunis last October.
  • 24 countries were represented with the percentage of attendees from Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and Egypt accounting for 41% of total attendees followed by UK, France and the United Arab Emirates representing 28% overall.
  • A high portion of the attendees were affiliated to a refinery or a petrochemicals plant (32%) but viewing the need for innovative technology in this region the proportion of vendors and technology providers was even higher accounting for 41%. The audience was mainly made up of senior managers followed by business development managers.
