Germany
Since
the World Refining Association’s inaugural Global Petrochemicals
Conference in May 2004, there have been major changes within the industry.
The first half of the year saw a long awaited upturn both in terms of
volume and pricing, especially for olefins and aromatics and although
the market will continue to be unpredictable, the near future at least
seems to look positive.
The Middle East continues to play an important role for supply to Asia
where growth is strong but GDP growth in Europe is still low and the position
of the US remains uncertain. Technology also features significantly and
major players are looking to make sure operations are as effective and
energy saving as possible.
This
timely event was designed to give you up to date information on each of
the key growth markets as well as technological progress reports and case
studies of regional projects.
This
2 day event also featured a dedicated exhibition area, which was open
to all conference attendees, giving companies the unique opportunity to
showcase their latest technology and processes to some of the industry’s
key players and decision makers. |
